FINISHING Using yarn needle, weave in all ends. Button Cover (make 3) Round 1: Ch 4, work 15 dc in 4th ch from hook (beginning ch counts as first dc); join with slip st in top of beginning ch—16 dc. Round 2: Ch 1, working in back loops only, sc in each st around; join with slip st in first sc. Round 3: Ch 1, working in back loops only, slip st in each st around. Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing. Using yarn needle, weave tail through sts of last round. Insert button into cover and pull gently on tail to close cover over button snuggly. Continue weaving tail through sts and snugging cover over button until completely enclosed. Sew buttons to button band opposite buttonholes.
