GAUGE

In St st 19 sts and 23 rows = 4"/10 cm

 

NOTE

Edging is worked in short row sections; leave the stitches not being worked on the circular needle.

Section 1:

With A, CO 3 sts with long tail cast-on. Mark center st.

Rows 1, 3, 5, 7: Yo, p across.

Rows 2, 4, 6, 8: Yo, k to marked st, yo, k marked st, yo, k to end.

Rows 9, 15: Yo, k across.

Rows 10, 14, 16: Yo, k to marked st, yo, k marked st, yo, k to end.

Rows 11, 13: Yo, p across.

Row 12: Yo, k2, *yo, k2 tog; rep from * to marked st, yo, k1, **yo, k2tog; rep from ** to last 3 sts, yo, k3.

Rep Rows 1 – 16, 3 more times for a total of 4 reps.

Section 2:

With B:

Rows 1, 5, 7, 11: Yo, p across.

Rows 2, 4, 8, 10, 12: Yo, k to marked st, yo, k marked st, yo, k to end.

Rows 3, 9: Yo, k across.

Row 6: Yo, k2, *yo, k2tog; rep from * to marked st, yo, k1, **yo, k2tog; rep from ** to last 3 sts, yo, k3.

Rep Rows 1 – 12, 3 more times for a total of 4 repeats, then rep Rows 1 – 10 once more.

Section 3:

With C:

Rows 1, 5, 7: Yo, p across.

Rows 2, 4, 8: Yo, k to marked st, yo, k marked st, yo, k to end.

Row 3: Yo, k across.

Row 6: Yo, k2, *yo, k2tog; rep from * to marked st, yo, k1, **yo, k2tog; rep from ** to last 3 sts, yo, k3.

Rep Rows 1 – 7, 8 more times, then Rows 1-- 3 once more—379 sts.

Edging:

With D:

Row1: K18, these sts are the base of the triangle.

Row 2: K across.

Row 3: K2tog, k across to last 2 sts, k2tog.

Rep Rows 2 and 3 until 6 sts remain.

Rep Row 2.

BO.

Work next triangle on the next 18 sts on the circular needle.

Rep until 10 triangles are completed

Center triangle:

Row 1: K10, yo, k marked st, yo, k10.

Row 2: K2tog, k across to last 2 sts, k2tog.

Row 3: K2tog, k to marked st, yo, k marked st, yo, k to last 2 sts, k2tog.

Rep Rows 2 and 3 until 10 sts remain.

Rep Row 2.

Continue working triangle up the second side until all sts are worked.
