FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Wrap measures approximately 16"/40.5cm wide x 51"/129.5cm long

 

GAUGE

In pattern, 15 sts and 6 rows = 4"/10cm

Gauge is not critical for this project.

 

STITCHES USED

Chain (ch), double crochet (dc), double treble crochet (dtr), single crochet (sc), slip stitch (sl st), treble crochet (tr),

 

SPECIAL TERMS

dc3tog: Double crochet 3 together—[Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook] 3 times, yarn over and draw through all 4 loops on hook.

sc2tog: Single crochet 2 together—Insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and draw up a loop, (2 loops on hook), insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook. Note: In this design, the sc2tog span 3 sts, 2 ch-1 sps and a tr7tog. One loop is drawn up in each of the 2 ch-1 sps, and the tr7tog between the 2 ch-1 sps is skipped.

sc3tog: Single crochet 3 together—[Insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and draw up a loop] 3 times, yarn over and draw through all 4 loops on hook.

beg tr4tog: Beginning treble crochet 4 together—Ch 4, *[yarn over] twice, insert hook in next st and draw up a loop, [yarn over and draw through 2 loops] twice; repeat from * 2 more times, yarn over and draw through all 4 loops on hook.

tr7tog: Treble crochet 7 together—*[Yarn over] twice, insert hook in next st and draw up a loop, [yarn over and draw through 2 loops] twice; repeat from * 6 more times, yarn over and draw through all 8 loops on hook.

tr4tog: Treble crochet 4 together—*[Yarn over] twice, insert hook in next st and draw up a loop, [yarn over and draw through 2 loops] twice; repeat from * 3 more times, yarn over and draw through all 5 loops on hook.

V-st: V-stitch—(Dc, ch 1, dc) in indicated stitch or space.

Top Edging

With RS facing and working across opposite side of foundation ch, join yarn with sc in first ch, sc in same ch, sc in next 4 ch, sc3tog over next 3 ch, *sc in next 4 ch, 3 sc in next ch, sc in next 4 ch, sc3tog over next 3 ch; repeat from * across to last 4 ch, sc in next 3 ch, 2 sc in last ch. Fasten off.

Using yarn needle, weave in all ends. Block wrap, if desired.
